Legal

Terms of Service

Last updated 4 August 2026. This page is maintained by the ICE team to explain how the platform may be used. It is not legal advice.

1. What ICE is

ICE (InterClubEngine) is software for listing open mats, publishing local grappling interclubs, building brackets and tracking results. ICE is not an event organizer, promoter, insurer, coach or medical provider. Every event listed on ICE is run by the gym, coach or organizer who published it.

2. Your account

You must give accurate information, keep your login details private, and be responsible for everything done through your account. Accounts for under-18s must be created and managed by a parent or guardian. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform, post unlawful content, or misrepresent a gym, rank or result.

3. Organizer responsibilities

If you publish an event or open mat you confirm you are authorised to run it and that you are solely responsible for venue safety, insurance, first aid and medical cover, ruleset enforcement, refereeing, matchmaking oversight, safeguarding of minors, and any refunds or fees you collect. ICE provides tools only.

4. Participant responsibilities

Grappling and combat sport carry an inherent risk of serious injury. By entering an event through ICE you confirm you are medically fit to compete, that you accept those risks voluntarily, and that you agree to any waiver required by the organizer.

5. Content you post

You keep ownership of the photos, videos and posts you upload, and you grant ICE a non-exclusive licence to display them within the platform. Do not upload content you do not have the rights to, or content that is abusive, harassing or unlawful.

6. Payments

Entry fees are set and collected by the organizer of each event. Refunds, cancellations and disputes are between you and that organizer. ICE is not a party to those transactions.

7. As-is software disclaimer

ICE is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data, or uninterrupted availability. Brackets, rankings, stats and notifications may contain errors or be delayed.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ICE and its operators are not liable for any injury, death, property loss, missed match, cancelled event, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform or attendance at any event listed on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the platform grows; continued use means you accept the updated version. Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact details shown on the ICE home page.
